THE most shameful episode so far in our Coronavirus time was the mindless, greed-driven stock-piling of bog rolls, tinned tomatoes, and dried pasta by a ghastly contingent of brazen, brain-dead Brits.

Did we run out of bog roll? Was there a spag bol pasta drought somewhere in our Isles? Did you have to improvise in your cuisine because of a tinned tomato shortage?

Not far behind, were the disgusting snitches who grassed up anyone they felt was in breach of Lockdown Rules. If you have ever watched ‘The Lives of Others’, you must bow in shame that we can match East Germans for our national readiness to collaborate with fascism.

Prior to these absurd deformities produced through the prism of Covid, our society was already exhibiting certain oddities.

Since 1997, 3 words summate the UK’s public perversity for emotional exorcism – Diana, Brexit, and ……Maddie.

Diana is incontrovertibly dead – her body was smashed to a pulp as it catapulted into the rear of the front passenger seat of her Mercedes at 100 mph, from a distance of 4 feet. In Ballistics, the impact was equivalent to a human body being hit by a red-hot sheet of steel with the same force as a missile fired out of a tank gun.

Maddie never really died. For at least 5 years, to fill the chasm of nonsense Diana’s death exposed, Maddie became Britain’s obsession.

Many did not hold back – Maddie was murdered by her own parents, in a Black Magic ritual child sacrifice, a drug-fuelled orgy of sexual depravity, or a disgraceful torrent of physical abuse and/or intoxicants – Maddie’s parents either slaughtered her on Satan’s Orders, allowed their daughter to be killed as they wallowed in sexual dogging and drugs, or beat her to death themselves.

Others sent millions of pounds to the McCanns, because they thought Maddie had come to a bad end at the hands of someone else.

The Portuguese Police behaved in the most ludicrous fashion and made it abundantly clear around the world that there is no such thing as The Rule of Law, or Justice, in their bankrupt and otiose system in Portugal.

Everybody had a view about Maddie.

Now, finally, in Covid Times, it would appear that a vile German pervert took Maddie on the fateful night, and killed her soon afterwards. She was only a tiny little thing and her smashed-up body could have been easily disposed of without a trace. Maddie McCann is dead, that is certain.

So, will the hundreds of thousands of very decent British people who accused Madeleine McCann’s parents of murdering their own daughter, spewing untold amounts of bile upon them, publish retractions and apologies?

I am afraid that the British Kangaroo Court remains In Session.
